Students Recreate Famous Mosaics with Recycled Materials

Students from the “Jusuf Puka” secondary school reproduced four important mosaics of the ancient city of Durres using giant 3D puzzles made with recycled cardboard boxes. The works of students from different classes were proudly presented to the public on the main square of the city. 

Working on this project students had an opportunity not only to learn more about the culture and history of their country, but also develop creative thinking and teamwork skills. This activity was organized within the framework of the “Creative Culture – based Development of Durres Heritage” project funded and implemented by Liberi di Viaggiare NGO through the EU4Culture grants programme.
