Join the inauguration of the restored Bashtova Castle

Bashtova Castle is ready to reopen its doors and welcome visitors.

Damaged by the 2019 earthquake, Bashtova Castle is coming back to life thanks to the support of the EU4Culture programme, funded by the European Union and implemented by UNOPS in close collaboration with the Ministry of Economy, Culture and Innovation.

The restoration has preserved authentic elements, created new spaces for visitors, and uncovered new layers of history, opening a new chapter for this monument.

The reopening will be accompanied by a concert, DJ, fair, and activities for children and youth.
