14 May 2021 – Stakeholder Meeting in the Kruja Ethnographic Museum

On 14 May 2021, UNOPS Albania office organized a Stakeholder meeting at the Ethnographic Museum of Kruja, part of Europe Weeks 2021 tour, which is one of the cultural sites to be restored by the EU4Culture project, funded by EU and implemented by UNOPS in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture.
In a discussion together with Minister of Culture Elva Margariti, European Union in Albania Ambassador, Luigi Soreca, Cultural Heritage experts and local community representatives, the Head of the UNOPS office in Albania, Pamela Lama, highlighted that the goal of the EU4Culture project is not only the restoration of cultural heritage sites damaged by the earthquake, but also the area revitalization, the value and the release of Cultural Heritage potential in terms of economic growth, business opportunities and to the society as a whole.
